- Fall under exemptions from EPA regulations pertaining to 40CFR part 1033 pertaining to locomotives originally built prior to 1973
- Upgraded Components Include:
- The electrical components, and can include full PLC control systems modernization
- Control systems, Control stand, etc...
- Braking Systems
- Car Body Work, refurbished hood and cab
- Cost less thanks to the reuse of orignial components
- Allow a customer to itemize exactly what components they want to upgrade to fit their budget
